LipTat™ Peel-Off Lip Stain
Peel it off.
The color stays.
A film goes on. Three minutes later it comes off — and takes nothing with it but the wait. What's left is a bonded stain that survives your whole day.
Vegan & cruelty-free · 15M+ sold worldwide*
That's the whole trick. No filter, no touch-up.
Not a liner.
A three-minute
tattoo.
Lipstick sits on top of your lips, which is why it leaves. LipTat™ builds a flexible film that deposits pigment into the surface, then lifts away clean. The film peels. Your lips don't.
-
01 / PREP
Clean, dry, bare
No balm, no gloss, no oils. The film needs bare skin to bond to — this single step is the difference between flawless and patchy.
-
02 / LINE
Trace with the precision tip
Flocked doe-foot, cut for edges. Follow your natural line — or a hair outside it for the fuller look. One pass is enough.
-
03 / PEEL
Wait 3 minutes. Lift.
The film comes away in one piece. Underneath: even, saturated, already dry. Nothing to blot, nothing to set.
-
04 / SEAL
Gloss on top, optional
The stain is already locked. Add gloss for the juicy finish — reapply it a hundred times, the color underneath doesn't move.
Four things
nobody can copy.
Every other liner competes on shade. This one competes on never thinking about your lips again.
Coffee. Dinner. Someone's cheek.
Waterproof and transfer-resistant once set. It doesn't creep, doesn't ring, doesn't end up on a glass. Regular liners are fading patchy by hour five.
One pass. No layering.
The film cures as a single even sheet, so pigment deposits uniformly instead of blotching where you pressed harder. Sheer streaks aren't a technique problem — they're a formula problem.
Stain, not sandpaper.
Built on a hydrating, hyaluronic-style base — long-wear color without the tight, cracked, please-let-me-take-this-off feeling matte formulas leave behind.
Three minutes buys a whole day.
Front-load the effort once in the morning and you're done. No mirror checks, no pocket reapplications, no camera-roll paranoia after lunch.
Why peel off?
It doesn't sit
on your tone.
It reads it.
Because it's a stain and not a paint, the same tube pulls differently on every complexion — warm terracotta on fair, deep wine on olive, rich russet on deep. Nobody else gets your exact result.
Single shade · zero guesswork
The peel, on loop.
Swipe. No music, no editing, no reason to trust us — just watch it come off.
- Transfer test
Pressed to skin. Nothing moved.
- Macro peel
One piece, one motion.
- Hour eight
After a full day of talking.
agree it doesn't transfer*
Every participant. Ten days of real wear. Not one report of color on a cup, a collar, or a cheek.
The questions
you'd rather
ask twice.
Does peeling it off hurt or damage my lips?
No. The film peels off itself, not your skin. It cures into a flexible sheet that sits above the surface and releases cleanly in one piece. If you feel pulling, you peeled early — give it the full three minutes and it lifts with zero resistance. Don't apply over cracked or actively chapped lips.
Mine came out patchy. What went wrong?
Ninety-nine percent of the time it's product underneath. Balm, gloss, oil or leftover cleanser stops the film bonding, so it lifts in fragments and the stain looks blotchy. Cleanse, gently exfoliate, pat completely dry, then apply to bare lips. Second most common cause: peeling before the three minutes are up.
If it's waterproof, am I stuck with it?
It's built to survive water, not oil. An oil-based cleanser or cleansing balm breaks it down in under a minute. Left alone it fades gradually with your lips' natural surface turnover — so it wears off evenly instead of flaking away in patches.
Will it end up on my teeth or outside my lip line?
The applicator is a precision flocked tip, not a brush — it's cut for edges, so control is the whole point. Keep lips slightly parted while the film sets and don't press them together until you peel. Any stray film outside the line lifts away with the rest.
Will it dry my lips out?
This is where most long-wear formulas fail and this one doesn't. The base is built around humectant, hydrating ingredients rather than the drying alcohols that make matte liquids feel like they're shrinking your mouth. Seal with gloss or balm after peeling — it won't disturb the stain.
How fast does it ship, and what if I hate it?
Orders are dispatched within 1 business day, tracking emailed the moment it leaves. Standard delivery is typically 3–5 business days domestically. If it isn't what you expected, our support team sorts it — we'd rather refund you than argue with you.
Is it vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes to both. No animal-derived ingredients, no animal testing, ever. Twelve months once opened.

Survived a wedding, an open bar, and my husband
Applied at 9am before hair and makeup. Ceremony, dinner, four drinks, dancing and about a hundred hugs later I checked the mirror at midnight — completely intact. My white dress had zero color on it, which is the actual reason I'm writing this.

Read the instructions. Seriously.
First attempt was streaky and I almost returned it. Then I realised I'd put chapstick on first. Second attempt on bare, exfoliated lips was perfect and even. Four stars only because I wish the box screamed NO BALM FIRST in bigger letters.

Finally something that reads deep skin properly
On me it pulls a gorgeous russet-brown, way richer than it looks in the tube, and it doesn't go ashy the way most nudes do on deeper complexions. It looks like my lips just decided to be more expensive.

I stopped carrying a lip product in my bag
That's the whole review. Three months in and my handbag has one less thing in it. I do the three minutes while I brush my teeth, so it costs me nothing.

12-hour shifts, N95 mask, no smudge
I'm a nurse. Masks destroy every lip product I've owned. This is the first one that came out the other side of a shift looking like I'd just done it. Slight fade at the very center by hour eleven, nothing anyone would notice.

The peel is genuinely satisfying
Bought it for the trend, stayed for the results. It comes off in one clean piece every time, doesn't tug at all, and underneath is an even blurred edge that makes my lips look fuller without overlining aggressively.

Came off easily with cleansing balm
I was nervous that waterproof meant permanent. It isn't. Cleansing oil on a cotton pad, thirty seconds, gone. During the day though — water, gym sweat, iced coffee — it does not budge.

Takes practice at the edges
Crisp corners took a couple of tries — go slow at the cupid's bow. Once you've done it twice it's easy. Wear time is exactly as advertised for me, around nine hours.

Bought one, ordered two more the same week
One for my bag, one for my desk, one for my sister who wouldn't stop borrowing mine. It's the only makeup item I'd be genuinely annoyed to run out of.

No color on my toddler's forehead
Real-world test nobody asked for: about forty kisses a day. Zero transfer, every time. That alone is worth it.

Arrived in three days, tracked the whole way
Ordered Sunday night, at my door Wednesday. Packaging was tidy and the tube feels heavier and more expensive than I expected. Support answered a shade question in a few hours.

My lips but sharper
I traced a fraction outside my natural line and the blurred stain edge makes it look completely natural, not like overlining. Three separate people asked what filler I'd had. None.

Four months in, still on my counter
I've abandoned every viral product I've ever bought except this one. Still going, still nearly full, still the first thing I reach for. That's the highest praise I have.

Put it on once.
Forget it all day.
Three minutes in the morning. Zero mirror checks after. That's the entire pitch.
